August 10, 2002	Chaoyang District's International Youth Exchange visits our district (Chaoyang District Youth League secretary, 8 students, 2 government employees) - Our district and the Chaoyang District established a sisterhood relationship on April 11, 1996. This year marks the 7th year of the international exchange, and the first visit of the youth to our district. We aim to construct a foundation in the direction of a substantial cooperation in civilian international exchange. - Grounds for a natural exchange connection will be established between a high school within jurisdiction that has expressed much interest in international cooperation and the renowned Chenjinglu Middle School of Beijing at a government office to to prepare an official sisterhood relation between the schools of the two districts. - By developing programs centering on the nature tradition latest cultural experience and the goodwill exchange activities of a variety of youth, we search for a direction towards a wonderful and civilian/foreign-inclined international exchange - Opportunity to experience Korea's ivory tower by observing the library's collection and the museum at Seoul National University. Also, a chance to witness the outstanding scholastic achievements of Korea's college students.

September 14-22, 2001	Great Success by Gangnam-gu's Economy and Commerce Group and Beijing Chaoyang District Company Exhibition Gangnam-gu is playing a bridging role for Korean companies trying to enter the development of CBD and Chaoyang Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing (People's Republic of China). Chaoyang District officially invited the Mayor of Gangnam-gu for the 2nd International Trade Fair events from September 18 to 22 in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The Mayor of Gangnam-gu gave presentations and held meetings with Chaoyang District Goverment Officails and related economy trade people. Among the International Trade Fair events was the 'Gangnam-gu Company Exhibition' that consisted of about 20 Gangnam-gu entrepreneurs in the IT, BT, and construction fields. It was a great success with about 200 companies attending and they gave many invitations to the participating companies.
August 13-18, 2001	A Gangnam-gu youth group (8 starting group) visited Chaoyang District for a friendship exchange.
May 8-11, 2001	The Director of the Administrative Management Bureau and three officials visited Chaoyang District and went on a field-observation of Chaoyang park and discussed dispatching youth groups to each other.
